STAND BY FOR ACTION! 2: TUNES OF DANGER

In April 2022, the Stand By For Action! – Gerry Anderson In Concert event thrilled fans of his enduring series that stretch back over a period of almost 70 years.   The celebration of this incredible body of music in a concert hall setting helped to bring to life some of the most popular television series ever made. The release of the concert album later that year brought further acclaim from a wider audience.

In July 2024, Carrot Productions' Hackenbacker Orchestra & George Morton once more took to the concert stage to deliver a second helping of the timeless music from the shows.  Paying homage once more to Gerry’s special partnership with composers including Barry Gray, Richard Harvey and Crispin Merrell. It was time once again to feel the pulse of Thunderbirds, the mysterious allure of Stingray, the eighties vibes of Terrahawks, the futuristic vibes of Space: 1999 and the contemporary strings of New Captain Scarlet. Immerse yourself in a symphonic journey once more through Gerry Anderson's unique universes where each note conjures memories of daring rescues, epic space adventures and puppetry magic.
